Wengfu Group

Wengfu Group is one of the largest producers of phosphate based products in China; producing around 10Mtpa of products including DSO, MAP/DAP and phosphoric acid. They have an expert reputation within the industry, both domestically and abroad, having recently completed the construction of the Ma'aden beneficiation plant in Saudi Arabia; one of the largest phosphate projects ever.

In November 2009 Legend announced the partnership with Wengfu Group; a partnership that has led to Wengfu undertaking an extensive feasibility study of the Legend project. This feasibility study was completed in June 2010, finding that the project is robust and positive across a number of market scenarios.

Wengfu also provide unparalleled access to the high growth Chinese market and high levels of credibility for the Legend project in Asian markets. Pending further discussions due in July 2010 Wengfu may provide engineering, procurement and construction expertise for the entire Legend project. Wengfu will also become an equity partner and assist in finding further project funding for Legend.

Wengfu are a Chinese State owned organisation; offering stability and high levels of security throughout all aspects of the business.

Legend aims to facilitate Wengfu's target of international expansion and provide an entrance to the Australian marketplace. The partnership aims to be highly beneficial for both parties and our shareholders.
